Robert Wood Johnson Foundation - Leadership Institute

In 2013, the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine and USGBC formed a Green Health Partnership with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). In May 2015, RWJF awarded the Partnership $1.2 million to continue research to promote healthy places over the next 3 years. With funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, our public health and green building leadership team is working to help architects, urban planners, developers, and their clients create healthy places at the project level and empower real estate investors to promote healthy places at the portfolio level.

Chris Pyke, Matt Trowbridge, and Kelly Worden discuss the history of the Green Health Partnership between the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine and USGBC, and present on the work their team is doing-- with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-- on public health in the built environment.
